Not everything you learned is high school is useful.
One of the first challenges I ran in to this quarter was that my pre-existing physics knowledge was basically useless. Soon into the quarter I discovered that the sequence of physics concepts that I had in college was irrelevant, and I decided that I really had to relearn everything in order to succeed in the class. If I'm being honest not everything was useless, but I did basically have to start from ground 0.
At this point I'm excited to move on to the next quarter, I've heard from my friends that PHYS 122 is quite challenging, but I'm excited because I hear it starts dealing a little bit with chemistry, and making connections across the classes I'm in always makes the material stick in my head easier as well as becoming more useful!
