Fortunate to have the chance to continue doing what fascinates me.
In the fall, I will be joining the Bluedot Photonics (www.bluedotphotonics.com) Team as a PV Engineer to help build prototype solar devices. The company, spinning out of a lab in the chemistry department at UW, is focused on, you guessed it: developing perovskite photovoltaic technologies. Although I do plan to return to school for a PhD eventually, joining this team is an unparalleled opportunity to work at the cutting edge of material development in a burgeoning field. Tandem PV, Bluedot Photonics, and others are all risking business uncertainty to bring game changing technologies to market. Efforts like these kindle technological revolutions and I intend to help spark the transition to 100% renewable energies.
