"Welcome to College, Kid." - Part Two
Chemistry 152 with Daniel Chiu - the class I realized that sometimes, even when you do work your butt off, you still just don't get it. But you can take solace in the fact that you're probably not alone. The second midterm, which you can find below, was probably the hardest test I had taken to date, hinging on the fact that some problems I just had no idea what was going on. Getting back my test my mouth dropped open when I saw my raw score out of the total points, and was only later assured when I found out that, like my raw score, the class average was also much lower than average. On this test, nobody scored more than a 71 out of 100. Not a single person. Now I understand that sometimes this gives a professor a better grasp of his classes learning? In the moment it doesn't feel like it.
This class was definitely a learning period, just figuring out more about the academic dynamic at this point I was deep into.

The pencil is the work I did during the test, the red is the TA's grading, and the green are my corrections after receiving the test back.
